About Craig Levinson
Craig Levinson is a life sciences sales leader with more than 20 years of experience supporting pharmaceutical and bioprocessing organizations across North America. His career includes technical application roles, strategic account management, and regional sales leadership. He has led teams, negotiated master supply agreements, and managed revenue responsibility exceeding $140 million. Craig has worked with global pharmaceutical companies, emerging biotechs, academic institutions, and contract manufacturers, helping customers adopt technologies critical to commercial manufacturing.
Craig Levinson completed his undergraduate education at Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, earning a Bachelor of Arts in History in 1994. Following his graduation from Knox College, Craig pursued a second undergraduate degree to advance his scientific training. He enrolled at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, where he completed a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 2000.
Craig Levinson of Carmel, Indiana, began his professional career in the life sciences industry in 2000 at Packard Bioscience, where he joined as a Customer Application Engineer. His responsibilities focused on training customers after the installation of liquid-handling instrumentation and multimode microplate readers.
During this period, Craig worked with customers engaged in drug discovery and regulated laboratory operations. These environments included contract research organizations, core laboratories, and GLP and GMP facilities.
In 2002, Craig Levinson joined Waters Corporation as a Technical Sales Specialist. He managed a three-state territory that included major pharmaceutical and industrial customers. His accounts included Eli Lilly, Pfizer, Pharmacia, Dow AgroSciences, and Procter & Gamble.
Craig delivered technical presentations to scientists working in quality assurance, quality control, and process development. He was responsible for increasing customer engagement and expanding market share within his territory.
Craig joined Sigma-Aldrich SAFC in 2004 as a Business Development Manager, marking a significant step forward in his commercial career. In this role, he served as a sales specialist focused on cell culture media and critical raw materials used in biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
From 2006 through 2010, Craig managed multiple territories, including emerging biotechnology companies and large pharmaceutical firms. Between 2010 and 2014, Craig managed the animal health business across North America. This role expanded his scope of responsibility and required coordination across regions and customer segments.
Throughout his time at Sigma-Aldrich, Craig Levinson led cross-functional teams composed of internal specialists and customer-facing experts. He successfully designed platform media and critical raw materials into several major accounts, including Eli Lilly, Alexion, Novavax, Lonza, Elanco, BIVI, and Merck Animal Health.
